Lumber and Wood Working Co, filed a lien against me on No. 333 East imh street for a balance of $1,710.63, claimed by them to be due on a contract for material furnished. In connection with the publication 'of such lien, per¬ mit me to say that whilst the lien, aa flled, admits that I have paid the claimanta, on account, $2,100, it does not disclose the important facts that I have tendered to them the full amount due them on the contract, and that they have failed and refused to comply with Buch contract on their part, both in neglecting to fur nish material agreed to be furnished and in including poor and defective material in that which they did fur¬ nish. All cf which facta I can and will, upon the trial of their lien, fully substantiate. November 11, 1887. W, J. Gessner. RINGS COCNTT. Not. . Hull st, n s, 175 w Saratoga av. aSx^OO....
