BETTER USE OURS It costs a dollar a mile to go to Chicago in a Special Train, but only a few cents a mile on the Empire State Express. The same is true of the Reccrd and Guidg Qoabteely. Each subscriber receives for Twenty Dollars a year a service that WuuM cost him thousands of dollars. A system of ri-cords is as necessary to a real estate broker as the "ticker" to a stock broker. Conceivably a man might git along without either, but he would suffer immensely both in person and eslale. By means of (he Record and Guide Quarterly, vhich occupies only a few square inches on a shelf or a desk, the real esiate mr.n is put in possession of a system of records in which he could find any particular transaction, be it conveyance, mortgage, auction sale or lease, as easily as he can find the name of one of his clients in the telephone book. It is psrmanent in form, ever ready and available. It does not go "out" like the ofQce boy, or make mistakes like the stenjgrapher. The annual number of the Record and Guide Quarterly contains ALL the legal records for the past year coQCern- ing real estate and projected buildings, arranged alphabetically aud numerically, with invaluable annotations. These are supplemented by tables of important transactions, with typical prices, covering the past quarter of a century or more, accompanied by expert comments.
