The Clerk's Calendar consists of applications under the Building Zone Resolution and its $322,272 for Guttenburg Track. The old Guttenburg race track property on Bergenline avenue, Hudson County Boulevard, 36th to 4Uth streets, 1st to 5th avenues,, in the Township of North' Bergen, Hudson County, was auctioned ofE by Joseph P, Day in one of the most successful disposals of real property ever held in that county. The old track, cut up into 1,000 lots, was sold off to the highest bidders for a total of $322,272, or an average of $325 per iot, in record time. Mr. Day sold the entire outfit iu less than five hours, or an average of four lots per minute, so eager were buyers to secure the property, which is considered one of tbe best remaining for development in this section. Mayor James Nolan, of North Bergen, bid highest for the northeast corner of 39th street and 3Sth avenue, which sold for $400, and he secured three adjoining lots at $300 each. H, Trice, of Southack and Ball, is in charge of the Eye Glass Company's business, and re¬ ports that in the past week leases for stores in Athol, Poughkeepsie, Yonkers, Ossining, Perth Amboy and three additional stores for New York City, aggregating about $1dO,000, has been closed, Mr. Trice left Tuesday for Newburg, Kingston, Albany.
