The assessment of the Commissioners in the
matter of the opening of Madison avenue from 124th
street to the Harlem river foots up an aggregate of
$300,000. No assessment is made on lots on either
4th or 5th avenue from 86th street to 115th street.
Above ilSfch street to 120th street lots on 5th ave¬
nue are assessed from $15 to $20 each; above 124th
street to 140th street from $20 to $25. The assess¬
ment on street lots begins with S6th street, between
4th and Madison avenues, and wliich are assessed
at about $10 to $20 per lot.
